Bosconian (arcade) Bosconian was way back in 1981. But it had speech, smooth eight-way scrolling, double-shots, and huge explosions. Feels like the kind of game that could've done with a more modern remake or sequel. Still not sure of half the words spoken. 😋

ZX Spectrum video wall (FUSE) Yeah, I've done it again. Both screens completely filled with a gorgeous collection of emulated ZX Spectrum games. This was just the test. Once I've worked a good set that play for a long time I can do a full recording for YouTube. 👍

These are all in MAME, but since I was going to games I remember fondly — rather than the previous Neo•Geo set — they were all different resolutions, so trying to lay them out was much of the challenge. It was *really* laggy by the time I was choosing the last few. 😋

Scarabaeus (C64) One of the most impressive 3D views on the C64. Also a game with some great jump-scares. Not to mention the cool intro bit. (The dog gets through okay.) 🐶

Ugh! (Amiga) Oh, so you think Space Taxi was where taxi games started? Oh no no no no no! The birth of this genre was positively prehistoric! (Also, the most adorable pixel-art intro ever!) 😊

I think the PC was working hard. Lots of fan noise and a good bit of heat being generated. 😄 Task manager said the CPU was only at 63%.. but launching new instances of MAME (and doing anything else) was getting *real* laggy, so maybe it was thermal throttling too? {shrugs}
