So yeah, 20k MRR solo bootstrapped companies are a thing. And I guess I’m one of them.

I’d tell my solo founder self: Don’t give up on that dream. Being surrounded by your dream team, doing great work together, is one of the best feelings in the world.

But I’m not alone anymore. My teammates are founders too. And I’m really lucky.

What was left was me. Still trying to bring visions to life. I was helping queers. Now I help founders like me. Who have that dog in them.

That connection was incredible. The mission was insane. Then COVID hit. The magic faded.

The best team experience I ever had was in college. Running Queer Chart. Stanford queer techies. Queer parties that took over campus. Coding till sunrise.
