the pitt rarely has room for long monologues but isa briones shines here. it's slow & quiet til the words start rushing out, out of breath bc she's been WAITING to say this all day. then she retreats back into her closed-off persona bc the vulnerability leaves her feeling exposed

this is from ep 6, after langdon (and a few others) have firmly+professionally corrected her. we see her fix her behavior and follow the chain of command. his behavior towards her later is not due to her needing to rein it in but bc she was onto him
yes the way he went about it was awful but also santos needed to rein it in man she was going against the ED rules and was being too cocky in a way that could’ve lost a life. it wasn’t just that she was a perfect intern and langdon was an evil superior !!!
