I get the sentiment here, truly. But when the person expressing it is terminally online, posting on X every hour of the day, they’re already “living inside the internet”. You’re addicted and it doesn’t matter whether it’s a phone or glasses you’re using to get your fix.

I don’t want to wear the glasses. I don’t want to live inside the internet. I want technology to help me win my time back — in the real world — and keep me healthy, fit, and wealthy, so I can be a better lover, brother, son.

Man, whose brilliant idea was it to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal? Seems like a pretty big fucking deal right now.

It's so odd that one side's strategy for the election is to invent an issue of race for a person that's been on White House grounds for 4 years. America knows her. This isn't someone for whom a false narrative about their personality or background can just be manufactured NOW.

Realizing it would need to be the inverse since you’re not actually moving in VR like you are a car, so not sure exactly how it would apply. But I see more promise here than with other solutions that have been bandied about for years.

Wow the vehicle motion cues really do prevent motion sickness. Can’t remember the last time I took an Uber and wasn’t car sick from being on my phone for 5 minutes. Makes me wonder why this couldn’t be applied to VR apps with locomotion.

The best game in Vision Pro right now is trying not to get addicted to converting every photo to 3D. Wife was in tears last night re-experiencing life size spatial photos of everything from our early days to the wedding and birth of our kids.

Apple’s Bora Bora environment is one of the most immersive things I’ve tried in mixed reality. The fact you can blend real world sensory like the sun with the virtual sky plus the higher fidelity rendering of the horizon amps up the feeling of presence.

Found out the hard way that Apple remotes aren’t water resistant like iPhones. Little guy decided to toss it in the toilet. $60 literally down the drain.

One thing I haven’t seen speculated for WWDC is if we’ll see major improvements to spatial video/personal capture of 3D content for VP. Given the considerable amount of research papers they have on radiance fields, AI & Gaussian splatting I think it’s a reasonable expectation.

Strange there's so little noise about this. It's about to F up a lot of people's way of making a living in the film & TV industry. Biggest shakeup since the strike and I'm not sure the industry can handle another tsunami right now. EDD killing loan outs.

The biggest letdown regarding Magic Leap One’s being so easily attainable now is that they never released their multiplayer shooter. Imagine buying 3 or 4 devices to be able to play this with a group of friends.

Mother’s Day gift this year was a brand new Magic Leap, since they’re going so cheap these days. Fingers crossed they can pass the threshold on December 31.

With the lack of Vision Pro content, curiosity got me and finally bought Quest 3 but it’s such a bummer I’m not sure I’ll keep. Not stable as a PCVR headset (been troubleshooting for 2 weeks). Makes me miss how efficient my Reverb and Index were. VP still my fave but needs more.

I don’t know why it bothers me so much, but why does no one ever clip the pack to their pocket and put the cable behind them when using these devices. Same for Vision Pro.

Will never not enjoy watching the dumpster fire that GM created for itself by removing CarPlay/AA. They decided they knew better than the customer and are now Keystone Copping around the dumbest fumble in auto history.

The uneasy relationship between Detroit and Cupertino is on display in a flawed rollout of GM’s new software.
