... up Montée à Gourdon together. As the day heated up, the curistas started the Col de Vence, but it was not to be for many as the top was closed due to a brush fire. Undeterred, the cyclists gathered in Vence to find a new route back to the hotel. 2/3

#lecure23 Day 2 was another hot day! Though it was only 86km, the Curistas had a lot of ascending to do at nearly 2500m. Climbing over Col de Cayolle and up Col de Valberg. It was short, but definitely not easy with many struggling on the 2nd climb!
