The Hogwarts Halloween feast in the Great Hall looks delicious with all those sweets & treats & decorations. But Harry generously agrees to miss it in his second year to attend Nearly Headless Nick's Deathday Party. Would you have been as gracious? Or perhaps attended briefly?

What did you think of young Tom Riddle when Dumbledore met him in the orphanage? If you hadn't known, would you have foreseen the evil he was capable of based on his attitude & behaviour in that scene? Was he doomed from lack of love or could he have changed his course in life?

Must have been a great feeling to know that his #wizardingworld friends had not forgotten him, and he was getting out of Little Whinging. He later understood why Dumbledore had limited his magical contact & info, but it was painful & inscrutable at the time.

Would you have dropped your Halloween sweets in the Great Hall in shock & gone back to your house common room at the behest of the Headmaster & your prefects....or would you have hidden somewhere in the castle hoping for a glimpse of a real troll?

Merlin's Beard! On Thursday, November 14, the Food Network & Max will air a Harry Potter-themed bake-off show, in the style of the Great British Bake Off, hosted by Fred and George! After this 'taste', we can't wait to see the whole show! Are you excited?

We are not going to lose hope that @Scholastic will change its mind & @minalima will finish the series. It is unconscionable to stop in the middle! We all want to complete our sets and the remaining books *will sell* if they are made!
