Really nice stepwise approach to an uncommon scenario that should be reviewed regularly. Was just @TempleUniv with Cheri Erkman who ran a masterful multi team exercise in their sim lab for this.
The robotic approach is increasingly common in thoracic surgery. It is critical that surgeons are prepared to convert to open thoracotomy if bleeding is encountered. We are happy to share our technique for conversion in JTCVS OpTechs @AATSHQ .
