Loíza was founded by formerly enslaved Africans. It’s a beautiful area. When I lived in Puerto Rico, I would visit there, see manatees, eat food, listen to the drums. It’s a rich cultural area

I did an interview with him during the pandemic. We talked about our love of being Texans and our favorite Texas ice cream brand “Blue Bell.” We shared our favorite flavors. He talked about his mom’s favorite flavor as well. She was at his house in the background as we chatted.
