You can go to Paris for the first time, use public transport to get anywhere in the city, with no hassle. No city in India has this level of public transport. Auto drivers, cab drivers will try to scam anyone they can, because they have leverage. Trains are impossible to travel.
We have an 8000 year-old culture to showcase and yet, while one small city of Paris attracts 25 million foreign tourists every year, the entire nation of India attracts 11 million. We haven’t plucked the lowest-hanging fruit. We are watching it rot. My views on Indian tourism:

Maybe if they focus on policy reforms around ease of doing business, stop protectionist policies that only benefit big business houses, the companies themselves would automatically start reinvesting the capital in business expansion. This is like - slapping yourself and then.

Bengaluru housing prices are up ~62% in just 2 years, while the city's infra crumbles. The dream of 'apna ghar' is becoming a trap, forcing the salaried class into overpriced gated societies. Don't let builders sell you a high-EMI nightmare. #HousingCrisis #Bengaluru #PricedOut
