Thank goodness the Tosca I went to see at the Colisseum was a more traditional setting. What I didn't realise was that Scarpia had lost his voice and was being sung by someone else from a box near the stage. And I never realised until reading the reviews after. Brilliant miming !

2) after some rather suggestive activities with Scarpia, finishes up wearing Scarpia's blood soaked woolly jumper. Then to top it all, some random woman wanders on at the end and shoots Tosca. But at least the snow was mopping up all the blood. But Kristine did song beautifully !
