It's a challenge to estimate crowd size, but at the peak of the celebration Saturday, between four and five blocks were filled with KU fans. Based on that, we estimate that 15,000 to 20,000 people were on Mass Street after the Final Four win. Thank you for a safe and fun night!

In an effort to maximize accessibility throughout Lawrence, our ADA Compliance Manager Evan Korynta demonstrated the importance of meeting ADA compliance with curb ramps. He had field staff use a wheelchair to feel the difference between ramps with higher and lower slopes.
