this is a Venetian this is the second layer type of vault you can get to protect the casket the reason why they do this is that they seal it with tar so no water or little bugs or worms gets in and so the casket doesn’t get destroyed as well so it’s protected and what lies within

So in funeral practice class we talked about vaults for caskets this is a little tiny little diorama to show how they look like because normally a regular sized one is around 86 inches long and 30 inches wide weighing around 2900 lbs
