As my grandfather lies in a bed struggling to take his last breaths due to Covid, Iâm not sure Iâve ever read anything more offensive or tone deaf in my life.
I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Donât be afraid of Covid. Donât let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed."

Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died from complications from cancer. Her death will set in motion what promises to be a tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her.
