@Cipherhoodlum @ecb @perplexity_ai Christine Lagarde was convicted of negligence in 2016 for failing to challenge a €404m arbitration payout as French finance minister. She received no penalty, fine, or jail time, and the conviction was not entered into her criminal record. No other convictions exist.

Lots of hype around multiple simultaneous Claude Code agents atm. Not the way I work so far. Makes me feel like a boomer at times.

When I use LLMs for coding I generally try to. - work with small incremental changes .- on clearly defined problems.- craft the prompt and context with care. Interesting to hear Karpathy voice the same thoughts

Imo 3 is the most important. Just make sure the bi-weekly meet-up keeps happening and eventually you will have made your way through books.

For the first time I've managed to keep a bookclub going longer than a month . 6 months and counting atm. Secret sauce:. 1. Choose books wisely. No 1200 p. tomes (yet). 2. Fewer people makes it easier (< 5) . 3. Keep meeting regularly even when none of you had time to read.

Tripped on this many times. Not pivoting fast enough when things change is as bad as not validating your ideas in the first place. But it is hard to not hold on to the past and the false sense of security it brings.

Does this mean I will no longer need to bend over for lawyers? . Big if true.

🔥 This is wild. Claude 4 now beats junior lawyers at:. → Startup contracts.→ Risk reviews.→ Founder splits. All with a single prompt. Here’s how to plug it into your workflow:

Tried out @rork_app . Not quite as smooth experience as for @chatgptricks but after a few prompts and a refresh the preview app was working. Unfortunately could not connect to GH to see the code without pro. Will def give it a serious try next time I have an app I wanna build.

1. This AI agent @rork_app is amazing. You can make an app with just words and put it on TestFlight and the App Store. Try the Strava clone app:

I've really enjoyed these short founder interviews by @AppSumo lately. Successful guest I've usually never heard of before. Short and concise.

Very impressed with o3 and o4-mini, but honestly Codex is really underwhelming compared to what already exists. (meme one-shotted by o3)

Is it just me or did 4o change its vibes a lot recently?. It affirms everything I say."You’re on 🔥 — asking all the right questions". I feel both like a genius and a toddler when chatting to it.

The US spent the last 50 years making everyone trade in dollars and printing money out of thin air to exchange with other countries for actual goods. It seems to me like a pretty elaborate plan. It was not to the benefit of all Americans. It concentrated wealth and hollowed out.

Bought a new binder and tried to use my old hole punch. Did not go well. Apparently Sweden does not follow ISO 838 for hole punching like everyone else. We're still stuck on a patent from 1889 😂
