It is impossible to capture what he meant to us. Foolishly, I let myself believe he was immortal. Yet, I never took him for granted. How could you? Of all the things he was, I’m just glad that I got to call him, “friend.” Rest easy, Ueck. Your legacy will remain forever.

Heartbreaking is not the right term. I loved this man. A wonderful human being, tremendous friend, broadcast partner and so much more. God bless the Sharpe family as they deal with this massive loss.
For 17 years, Greg Sharpe spoke past the microphone and into our hearts. His legacy will be woven into the moments he narrated and carried on through the relationships he built. We are deeply saddened by Greg’s passing and send our deepest condolences to the Sharpe family.

Tough to put into words what Greg means to me & so many others. When his diagnosis came out & it became clear that he was going to do his best to work through the football season, no shortage of hands went up to offer help if he needed it. Glad to be one of the many to help.

16 years ago I was an unpaid intern for an Omaha radio station & met @kevinkugler for the first time. He quickly became one of my best friends and I just got to hear him call the first 16 over a 1 in NCAA Tourney history. Per usual, he nailed it. 1/2.
