Mount Sinai’s price hike would add $1B+ in health care costs—hurting working families and small businesses across NYC. Higher bills. Less access. Take action now.

Because of the huge interest from visitors to our exhibition, Shakespeare in Lambeth, we have extended its run until Fri 6 December. As well as celebrating the return of the folios, "Shakespeare in Lambeth" explores the ways in which Shakespeare was performed the past 200 years.

Since you all voted for Blue Plaques for Women in our 2020 poll, we are very pleased that four of your choices received an English Heritage blue plaque. Yesterday was the unveiling of a blue plaque for Olive Morris, a political activist, who lived on Railton Road, Brixton.

I've just come across this oil painting. It's a view east of the boat builders' yards and barges lining the #Thames foreshore near Stangate, #Lambeth by Pembury, 1853. Searle's boatyard. was probably the most notable in Lambeth at this time. #oilpainting #London

It was lovely to have Corpus Christi Primary School Yr 5 classes visiting us at Lambeth Archives this morning. We were able to share the history of our local area with the children and staff. The pictures are of Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Brixton Hill. (1910, 1950 &1980)
