#OnThisDay in 1865, General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, TX to read Order No. 3, which affirmed the end of slavery in the states of the former Confederacy. This momentous occasion has been celebrated as #Juneteenth — a combination of “June” & “19th” — for over 150 years.

We're urging @POTUS to act now and finalize the rules to #ProhibitMenthol, which will help save Black lives from cancer and other deadly diseases. Any further delay sends a message to Big Tobacco that they can continue to target Black communities without repercussions.
