🌍 Two years of Intuition-1 in orbit! Launched on Poland’s Independence Day 2023, our satellite has made nearly 11,700 orbits around Earth, showcasing on-board data processing. 🗺️ To mark the anniversary we’re sharing an image of French Guiana, home to @esa’s launch site.

Yesterday, Polish astronaut @astro_slawosz visited KP Labs in Gliwice 🚀. We summarised the first six months of our LeopardISS on the ISS as part of the #IGNIS mission. The first phase focused on running an autonomous navigation algorithm by the @PUT_Poznan.

After almost 10,000 orbits, Intuition-1 is proving every day how powerful onboard data processing can be.

All of this is made possible by our Leopard DPU, which processes data directly on board. That means less data to downlink, faster delivery to users, and the ability to experiment with new algorithms in orbit.

And yes: Intuition-1 also looked homeward. One image shows snow-covered Lubawa in Poland.

In recent months, its hyperspectral instrument has captured everything from the coastlines of Mexico to the bustling sprawl of Beijing, from Arizona’s deserts to Florida’s beaches, and from Myanmar’s mangroves to New Zealand’s green shores.

🌍✨ Fresh images from Intuition-1! Nearly two years after launch, Intuition-1 is still circling Earth 15 times a day and sending back incredible hyperspectral imagery.

This wasn’t just about playing games. By modifying the game’s code, testing the full pipeline on the ground, and uploading data to orbit, we proved that Leopard can adapt to diverse tasks and the flexibility that powers Intuition-1’s real-time data processing every day.
