For the EV driver, a larger station is preferred to increase chance of an available port. But station owners need to strike a fine balance between station size and capx. Here in lies the challenge with utilization modeling... and my reinvigorated fascination with GIS 🗺️

I've seen some charging networks claim they'll only build 10+ port stations, but data would argue that it might be most economical to build 6 ports assuming you can keep them all operational. Obvi, the ability to scale up when demand grows is key.
