One of the best parts about charging with Electric Era is nearly every session is battery supported Here is a big session during which a $24 demand charge was avoided saving $4000! In the graph you can see the dynamic grid limit being set to save πΈπΈπΈ

For the EV driver, a larger station is preferred to increase chance of an available port. But station owners need to strike a fine balance between station size and capx. Here in lies the challenge with utilization modeling... and my reinvigorated fascination with GIS πΊοΈ

I've seen some charging networks claim they'll only build 10+ port stations, but data would argue that it might be most economical to build 6 ports assuming you can keep them all operational. Obvi, the ability to scale up when demand grows is key.

Vertical integration in software has been @ElectricEraTech's major advantage since 2022 Nearly 33,000 sessions later and software continues to be the pulsing heartbeat of what makes us great
Vertical integration gives so many advantages With a full OS you get 1 - Faster feature deployment 2 - Better observability 3 - Better controllability 4 - Better automation for fault resolution Similar advantages are true with hardware ownership

traditional gas station biz models leaned on the in-store sales to keep the fuel prices low. it will be no different with kW's. but in order to make that work, there needs to be a connection between the retailer and the pump.

Drove our ID Buzz to the Methow Valley over the weekend, including a stop at @ElectricEraTech's Arlington station (don't sleep on Taj Grill & Spice next door). This was my first time charging the Buzz at one of our stations, unfortunately Quinn didn't share the excitement.

How would you transform a parking spot to improve your city? We're teaming up with Park(ing) Day and @TheBetterBlock to grant organizations $1,000 each toward creating a #parkingday installation in any city for the September 17th celebration. https://t.co/37sg5Hosml

Can't believe I just realized how poor the parking compliance is on the Abbey Road album cover. That lane is totally wide enough for a parking lane + lane of travel. Hopefully Westminster parking enforcement has solved this issue
