Agreed. Personally was defending my teammate as I always will do, especially after I saw how bad that loss hurt him the other night. This also was not an isolated incident either, or else I’d give the benefit of the doubt always.

Understand the sentiment but mistakes do have consequences, that’s also a part of life... the piling on is probably too extreme but on the flip side it may encourage players to think twice before consciously doing something like this again.

Advertised or not it’s an embarrassment, I mean... honestly if they advertised it, and took it a little further to where no big ten team makes the NCAA tournament (very realistic scenario) I wouldn’t have any interest in playing a single match of college tennis, cuz why would I?
