This is great to see, the MCP specification has been finally donated to the @linuxfoundation. This means that we are finally promoting MCP as a de-facto standard to a de-jure standard that every major AI player will adopt. At @kong we have been strong believers of MCP since day
Anthropic is donating the Model Context Protocol to the Agentic AI Foundation, a directed fund under the Linux Foundation. In one year, MCP has become a foundational protocol for agentic AI. Joining AAIF ensures MCP remains open and community-driven.
