him saying "so please just stop looking" is crazy to think about, because it means that there IS more to him, there is something deeper hidden inside, that he just doesn't want anyone to "look" and see, deep within. and when he says this, he looks. tired? sad?. a real jax. .
he clearly seems upset after admitting the truth of how he enjoys making the others suffer and feel pain for his own joy. maybe he didn’t want this to be revealed to anyone. or maybe because he’s showing emotion? he tells her to stop looking for more to him since there’s not any

him in the new ep really hit home for me. his self sabotage was so evident i could see it in the subtle expression changes 🥹 and the use of his pupils to signal playing a character, or his actual genuine emotion. so lovely. .
