Mets should fire Mendoza on the spot if they miss out on the wild card. Panicked and pulled Sproat for no reason, doesn’t have his players prepared for situational baseball (two walk in steals off a lefty), this team is always so unprepared

How many games did Mendoza forfeit or concede early in the year when the Mets were firmly in first place by fielding uncompetitive lineups or not trying to properly close the game? Just a reminder that you have to try and win every game because you never know what could happen.
