(by this i mean that i will probably not post very much, as per usual... i'm sorry!!!!💦💦💦😣😣)

a lot of this probably doesn't make sense but i just wanted to ramble about my thoughts. i've always had a lot of trouble with my own work, so it's always good to reflect on it 🥹🥹💚❤️ (7/7)

i can acknowledge all of the skills i've learned and improved upon that just aren't very visible. for example, before i was just mindlessly drawing a pose and angle because i had committed it to memory, rather than actually understanding the form. but now i understand it!! (6/7)

despite all of the practice i've been doing since🥲 but i'm looking back now and finding that my own growth is just less simply visible 🥹 maybe when i compare these two drawings side by side, it only seems like a few months have passed rather than 1.5 yrs, but (5/7)

initially when i doodles this, i was honestly really disheartened! i looked back at my older works and felt like i had really not improved as much as i would have liked. there was the same stiffness that i hate in my art, and there was barely any sort of clear improvement (4/7)

because i really do have a passion for art; i practice hard and i barely do anything besides draw. yet, i feel like my progress is always so minimal... so it gets really discouraging, because i feel like by now, i should be way more skilled with how much experience i have (3/7)

is tied to the fact that i've always felt like i just don't improve... all of the people around me seem to constantly be improving to the point i feel like i'm being totally left in the dust 🥲 often i'm wondering if it's simply a difference in talent rather than drive (2/7)

i'm feeling a bit nostalgic being logged into this account, so i'm going to ramble a bit💦 looking back at the art that i drew over a year ago and comparing it to my art now, i can't help but get a little bit emotional 😵‍💫 i've never been happy with my art and a lot of that (1/7)
