Scotland has never recovered from the first independence referendum. A country so resentful and divided on either side and it is only going to get worse. People are still full of bitterness 6 years later. A poisonous country. Hate it here.

@kirsten93_ Te borders is nice. It’s hardly ever mentioned here mostly coz we’re vastly on the no side. We don’t have that hatred for the English or each other either.

@kirsten93_ Sensible thing would've been to park it and work together for a better country as things stood. Sadly, can't see things improving soon either.

@kirsten93_ I foolishly thought 19th September 2014 would be the beginning of Scotland healing. Never did I think we would be divided and broken even more. Heartbreaking

@ttilxe Easier said than done. They have one core party and the unionist vote is split 3 ways. I’m not sure how to get around it.

@kirsten93_ The problem is that the countries leadership has never said it’s done and let’s move on. They fuel the division

@kirsten93_ @Orryblue Unless the fanatic element in the SNP calm down and stop rabble rousing, we are rapidly heading for a situation similar to Ireland circa 1972.

@kirsten93_ It’s such a shame, had we had a party that wanted the best for Scotland& to improve things then a devolved parliament could have been great, instead we’ve the SNP who fooled many to think they would have Scottish interests at heart instead of their sole intent of division & Indy

@kirsten93_ Life in Scotland is what you make of it mate. I don't like the SNP, and especially the wee Dictator, but I love this lovely country of ours. Nobody will ever change that for me. Just as they will never change my pride in being part of the United Kingdom. All the Best. 🇬🇧

@kirsten93_ @stuartwn It's sad but true. Too many Scots the SNP brand is toxic, their current & previous leader more so. History will not judge them kindly, nor remember them fondly! I love my country; I love its history, its culture, its sense of humour & fair play. My country is the United Kingdom!
