This is an extremely serious political blunder and it will end up in a lot of Dem ads:

The SAVE Act, sponsored by @SenMikeLee, is a voter suppression bill. If you think it is about protecting the integrity of our elections, read this:

This is my analysis of the SAVE Act. It started as a stunt by Mike Johnson to protect his speakership. It has evolved into a massive voter suppression bill. When it fails, Trump will escalate to something even more dangerous. Read and share.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this

Read this slowly. They slap the words “Save America” on it, then stack the fine print with barriers, culture war bait, and rules that make voting harder for regular folks. Limiting mail ballots, adding document hurdles, and tossing in unrelated social issues is not election

Since Trump has taken office, over 40 people have died in ICE custody. And just this weekend, a 41-year-old man passed away under ICE’s watch. This is disturbing. We deserve answers.

Scientists put kids through 100 hours of reading, then scanned their brains. New wiring had physically grown inside the language regions. Communication between brain areas sped up by a factor of 10. Kids who didn't read showed zero change. That was a 2009 Carnegie Mellon study.

@DarrigoMelanie Analyses of the Heritage Foundation's own database (1999-2023) show extremely little voter fraud, so rare it never swayed or changed any election outcomes, per conservative and nonpartisan reviews. Trump's SAVE Act is built on exaggerated lies, not evidence.

“Republicans will lose power—likely for a long time—if we don’t get [ OUR VOTER SUPPRESSION BILL ] passed,” is really shouting the quiet part out loud. If the SAVE Act was a voter ID bill, it would provide voter IDs — but it doesn’t. It only prevents eligible voters from voting.
