I am deeply humbled to share that I have been selected as the 2025 Graduate School Premier Award recipient at The University of Alabama (@UofAlabama). This is the highest honor awarded to a graduate student whose experience exemplifies outstanding research, teaching, and service.

So getting a PhD doesn’t just come with a degree… It comes with a diagnosis too. Lol!
These results suggest that getting a PhD causally worsens mental health, or at least receiving psychiatric medicines. The reversal post PhD degree is particularly convincing. But the up trend among the control group is intriguing. The highly educated are in distress.
