A thing I really love is when someone does an emergency transfusion in histrical medical/crime shows. Just need a sharp thing, a tube, and gravity! And, you know, a matching blood type. That part doesn't always work out.

UPDATE: The violin lesson was awesome, and even though I was nervous as heck and convinced I would break the violin just by looking at it, I did it! Also, the instructor (she is wonderful) is music friends with one of my buddies, haha. Portland is a smaaaaall town.
