Some snow stats for you. 1st) In 83 years it has only snowed 1" or more in Portland ONCE beyond this date. That was last April 11th. That was also the only time it has snowed in April at PDX. 2nd) For the first time we've seen 8 consecutive winters with measurable snow at PDX

We'll see flurries and ice pellets (very light) mid-afternoon Thursday, then it changes to freezing rain (liquid freezes on contact) during the evening commute. If you want to play it totally safe, be home by 2pm tomorrow. We may get lucky and stay mainly ice-free through 6pm
