Don’t get me wrong, ‘in game’ you’d take it if we scored from it. But I felt very weird about being given that corner, it’s not right. The law was brought in to stop ‘keepers wasting time and officials / law makers need better education about when a keeper is ‘in control’. (2/2).

I’m a fan of changes made to stop keepers wasting time. But this is not what the law change was intended to do. Big catch from a corner, smother as expected and then play = absolutely fine. 8.13 seconds from catch to release, not a single one of my team questioned it. (1/2)
