It's *ok* to be sad that it's over, so long as you're *also* happy that it happened. Thanks to everyone who's come to my classes over the last 16 years - I hope you had as much fun as I did! Stay healthy, wash your hands, and let's do it all again on the other side 😊💪

While the headlines are all about M&S click & collect returning, the *bigger news* is that M&S yellow stickers are no longer round numbers (£1.25, £2, £2.75 etc) but now back to obscure % reductions. #IYKYK 😉

🤖 Wondering where all those #AmazonFresh vouchers had disappeared to? They’re all buried in your app, they cycle through different combinations, and they all need to be used in the next hour…

🥪 WHAT? When did @sainsburys meal deal go up AGAIN*? £3.95 is a 13% increase in 12 months, when inflation was a quarter of that 🤬. *obviously I’m late to this as I usually go to Tesco, which is now *35p* cheaper!

📈 If you think today's rise in inflation is "unexpected", you weren't paying attention when @the_brc reported a 0.9% rise in grocery prices two weeks ago.

Not taking sides on this one, but I'm pretty sure that this kind of predatory pricing and supplier pressure by Amazon would be deemed in breach of competition law if it took place in Europe.

Supermarkets sold more drinks and fuel sales were up as people "ventured out", the UK statistics body says.
🛍️ There'll be headlines about #retailsales rising in June. However, quarter-on-quarter growth was flat vs 1.6% in Q1, which was the best quarterly rise since the pandemic. So the bigger picture is that the recovery has stalled, as inflation eats into consumer demand.
