A dedicated, friendly and passionate teacher, she will be greatly missed by her colleagues and students alike. The community at KGV Sixth Form College & the wider Southport Education Group send their deepest condolences to Clare’s loved ones during this extremely difficult time.

Clare spent a significant part of her career with the Southport Education Group. She served as Head of Maths at @southportcoll between 1986-2006 and had been teaching A-Level Maths at KGV since 2023.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Clare Peacock, maths teacher at KGV Sixth Form College, who passed away in August following a short illness.

We'd like to congratulate Wiktoria Janinska from our 2024/25 cohort, who is now studying Medicine at @OfficialUoM. 🥳 As part of our School of Med programme, Wiktoria received tailored support from KGV & extra curricular support from partners @biograd_education to build her CV.

Timetable adjustments this year means there are no lessons scheduled on Friday afternoons. This leaves our students with more flexibility to balance studying, revision, volunteering, and other commitments! Campus will still be open for those wanting to use our facilities. 💜
