So a film I am prevented from playing in my cinema wins the BAFTA for best film? Is this not a stupid state of affairs? Poor show all round. Need to nip this shit in the bud.

Did Netflix not want you to screen ROMA at all or was it because you didn't like that they insisted on releasing it on all their platforms dec 14 ?

No. Of the title is right I will play day and date. We weren’t allowed to show ROMA. An exclusive deal was done with Curzon cinemas. Which is also an objectionable act.

I have no problem with the film. But it should be available to cinemas across the board, not just a single outlet as a patsy to enable awards qualification.
