Been to a game tonight @harrowbyutd1949 v team in Orange. Orange team played all the football first half and couldn't score. Second half the home side were better and the Orange team just hoofed it! Strange. Great to see Mick & Mark and Daz and Flav. Finished 0-0.

An afternoon at the Zeeco Stadium for @StamfordAFC1896 v @halesowentownfc . Got a lovely welcome from lots of old friends. The Yeltz were superb to be 1-0 up at the break but the Dannies strength saw them equalise on the hour. 454 (100Yeltz) crowd. Fantastic pitch Dave Salisbury

Went to a football match @DeepingRangers tonight against a team in Green and Black from Stamford. Finished 0-0 in a game I thought the green and blacks should have won. 274 spectators which was great. Credit to my old mate Dave Holmes for his excellent surface.

Went to a football match in Stamford yesterday at a ground opposite Birdy's Chip Shop. Home team in Green beat a team in red & white from north of Nottingham 2-0. Met up with some old friends who seemed genuinely pleased to see us both. Good green performance on a lovely pitch.
