Ravel's music fundamentally changed my life. (including making me a better coder/technologist, actually). Early 20th century had one of the best aesthetic generator-functions imo, but it's largely vanished. I'm convinced this lack is intimately tied to current infodemic + more

Other interesting notes- he wrote the Left Hand Concerto for Paul Wittgenstein who lost his arm in the war (and is the brother of the other Wittgenstein. ) and served in WWI driving supplies / caring for wounded troops. And here he is with Nijnsky. Anyway, happy 150th Ravel

One of three piano concertos I had to learn and perform in a very short timeframe last year-. Quite a backlog of epic situations in between writing a lot of code as usual. But seems this mixture continues to help neuroplasticity etc. excited to finally share + more soon👽.
