I don't want a thin laptop!.Make it thick, armour-plated. Make it blast-resistant, fill it with batteries, fans and antennas!. Don't make it powerful either, it's just a dumb terminal for my actual machines anyway.

Important corollary that I do agree with: Tests that you don't run are useless.

So far my best counter-argument is:. If a test always passes, you can't tell whether it always passed because your code works, or whether it always passed because it tests nothing. So you can't tell if the test is useless. You have to do some (manual) mutation testing.

Smart coworker has this theory that tests that never fail are useless, and I can't seem to put into words why that feels wrong. Please help me explain it, I'll steelman my coworker.

I learnt something about Haskell syntax today, you can refer to different parts of the list comprehension, but only in one direction, and it's the opposite direction from what I expected.

As a "good dancer" with 14y of dance experience and a few years of teaching experience too, I can definitely say I have gotten much more attention now than when I started. Good dancers are like celebrities in this scene. It's a whole new world if you don't know about it, and.
Being a “good dancer” used to be something men attempted in order to attract women. But today, dancing as a social activity seems uncommon (and when it happens, the men barely move.) I wrote about why. Link in replies.
