this!!!! all I've been seeing is hate and criticism for rbvv but let's be honest, they gave 1us amazing music and visuals and concepts even with a low budget. (you can visibly see how with every cb in the past 3 yrs they've spent less money esp on MVS)
canβt believe the rainbow company actually did something right by actually creating entirely human-made art, I donβt think Iβve appreciated that enough

this is very nicely worded but i would argue that it's not understandable to use gen ai at all π I'm pretty sure there are talented tomoons out there who would willingly create animations for oneus even for a tiny amount of money, they would understand the budget constraints.
Using AI due to budget constraints is understandable, but it should be done tastefully i.e., in a way which doesn't obviously lower the quality of the content (which in turn directly reflects upon the artist). You are harming the reputation that your artists have worked hard to+

also! the venue was a surprising choice imo! aside from the fact that it's all seated which is great, it's not just a club or whatever, it's one of our most important event halls, in the city center. it may not look like much but even this in itself was a big deal for me

for context, romania is a fairly conservative (and poor) country in eastern europe, only in recent years have alternative communities started to develop. seeing a kpop group with this kind of concept fill up a venue of 4000 people was like witnessing history π©·

I really like the concept of using animations for them and they've done that in the past beautifully, by humans. But it's not special at all and just tacky if you use AI. Oneus are artists and they deserve better.
