The short version, "It's complicated.". Putin brings up Ukraine's historic ties to Russia, NATO expansion, the Ukrainian people's veneration WWII Nazi collaborators and alludes to the US deep state, all of which is true, but it all just seems like a post hoc rationalization.

I've been playing around with @OpenAI's ChatGPT and I'm extremely impressed with its responses, especially its ability to write source code. If this is made available to the masses it's going to be a game changer for productivity in a wide array of creative professions.

@elonmusk Digital monopolies should be held to a higher standard than the average business. In many cases they are more powerful than government agencies, and the public should be able to trust that they provide fair access and freedom of speech consistent with the Bill of Rights.

My sister was transferred to a prison work farm in VA, where she'll serve out her sentence. It's one of the nicer prisons in the state. Still, she'll be required to labor 8 hrs/day for $0.45/hr. "I can't believe it, Kristine. It's 2022 and I'm really a slave on a plantation.".

There's no more obvious evidence that a team lacks any real autonomy over their process than when team members bring up the same issues over and over but nothing ever changes. It's not for lack of need, desire or urgency but lack of agency.

Nevermind that "trickle down economics" is a canard invented by the left to mischaracterize mainstream economic principles. Low taxes benefit the entire economy regardless of who pays those taxes.
I am sick and tired of trickle-down economics. It has never worked. We're building an economy from the bottom up and middle out.

Agile is a lot like weight loss plans. The ones that work incorporate diet and exercise but you would rather try fads that don't require making real changes. Likewise companies will spend a fortune on frameworks that promise the results of agile without any real culture changes.
