I opened up during supervision (which I learnt through my first job!) and explained all these insecurities. Felt a lot more reassured- a good clinician means reflective, being curious and motivated to learn. It’s not about if you’re being introverted or not. #MySLTDay.

I myself personally am a very introverted person and slow to warm up as well. Being quiet made me reflected upon the fact that if I was a good SLT- being approachable and friendly. [3/4].

During my first two weeks, I was always thinking if I actually matched up with the team’s expectation. I was not running at my optimal clinical capacity . I also was not always sure about my clinical judgement and asked for second opinion [2/4].

Third week into my new B6 role as an acute SLT. Exciting times, also here comes waves of self doubt [1/4]
