19% of 755 phase 3 cancer trials had changes to the primary end points in the paper compared to the registration. 70% of those were not disclosed in the paper. Changes were associated with likelihood of a positive outcome (OR=1.86). https://t.co/5Jh9qWyGmb

But we did identify a few important gaps, which we hope YOU will fill! These include reviews on: 1️⃣ digital health for older cancer survivors 2️⃣ interventions to support oncology provider well-being 3️⃣ economic impacts of digital health on cancer care ➕and more…

Most reviews focused on: ✅cancer patients during active treatment/survivorship ✅eHealth, telephone/video calls, &/or apps Most reviews concluded that the interventions were feasible & effective, yet more robust & larger-scale testing was needed. 🤷‍♀️ Not terribly surprising!

First, the basics: ➡️We found 134 reviews (😱) on digital health and telehealth interventions from across the cancer care continuum ➡️We characterized WHO interventions targeted, HOW interventions were delivered, whether IMPLEMENTATION outcomes were addressed, & (much!) more

It is LONG past due for medicine to “recognize female sexual pleasure as essential and worth preserving” ⏰‼️

The clitoris is "completely ignored by pretty much everyone" within the medical community, experts say. That omission can be devastating to patients' sexual health.

Just over a year ago, I read a paper which showed that when private equity buys nursing homes, death rates go up 10%. I was a med student at Stanford, but I halted my studies to investigate. Today, that investigation was published in @NewYorker
