Screening is crucial to preventing cervical cancer, but PAP tests can be difficult or uncomfortable for some. HPV Self-screening can improve care & access including for transgender & gender-diverse ppl, new Canadians, Indigenous ppl, & those in rural or remote communities

People will benefit from greater convenience when it’s time to test for HPV, the leading cause of cervical cancer. Self-screening removes the need to find child care or travel to a clinic. Kits are more accurate and make to stop cancer before it starts.
