Last year I added 13 new stadiums. New total is 182. The breakdown is: 26 MLB/21 current (includes Sahlen Field) 2 Spring Training 19 Triple-A 15 AA 27 High A 11 Low A 23 Indy 35 Collegiate summer league 6 College 16 Defunct/no longer used by team I saw at the stadium

Last night, the Mariners pulled off a 3-2 victory in 15 innings to move up the playoff steps & join the Toronto Blue Jays in ALCS. Who will win tonight's game 5 and join the Dodgers in the NLCS. I don't have a Cubs cap in my collection so a Knoxville Smokies cap is filling in.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the St. Petersburg Devil Rays of the Florida State League. They began as the Saints in 1955. They played as the Cardinals from 1966-1996. In 1997 they became the Devil Rays being contracted following the 2000 season.

Last night, the Los Angeles Dodgers moved up the playoff steps after defeating the Philadelphia Phillies. We have a game 5 tonight and tomorrow. Who will join them. I don't have a Cubs cap in my collection so a Knoxville Smokies cap is filling in.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Kissimmee Cobras. They began as the Cocoa Astros in 1977, playing in Daytona Beach from 1978-1984 & Osceola from 1985-1994. From 1995-2000 they were the Cobras before being contracted following the 2000 season.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Deland Red Hats who played in the Florida State League. From 1936-1938 they were the Reds. From 1939-1941 and then again from 1946-1954 they were the Red Hats, moving to Gainesville in 1955. This was their 1939 cap.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Charlotte Stone Crabs. They were the Vero Beach Dodgers from 1980 to 2006. In 2007 and 2008 they were the Vero Beach Devil Rays. They became the Stone Crabs in 2009, until being dropped in 2020 when MiLB was reorganized.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Florida Fire Frogs. They began in 1994 as the Brevard County Manatees. In 2017 they relocated to Kissimmee, FL changing their name to the Fire Frogs. They were one of the 42 teams dropped when MLB reorganized MiLB in 2020.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Miami Beach Flamingos. They played in the Florida East Coast League in 1941 and 1942 and the Florida International League from 1946 to 1952 and once again in 1954.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Wichita Falls Spudders. The name was used off and on in various leagues from 1920 to 1957. This cap is from 1956 when they played in the Big State League.
