Thanks to @kehoefarming for hosting an excellent open day in Wexford ! Huge crowd attended over 5 hours and were keen to understand what changes allowed an increase in milk solids of over 100kg per cow and reduced SCC by 50% within 1 year ! #LelyKilkenny

Our 3rd farm on Italian tour had 370 cows averaging 40 litres on 6 robots and 200 cows on parlour doing 34 litres. Hopes to go all robotic within next 2 years! Robot shed is managed in 2 hours in morning and another 2 hours in evening . #LelyMullingar

Our yard design specialist @WilliamConlon will have more details from our 5 farm visits over next few days. We gained some great insight on how to plan systems to suit 500-1000 cow herds! Sincere thanks to our Italian hosts for their superb hospitality 🇮🇹 👌🙏👍
