I'm grateful for the opportunities & support I've received both at UNMH & the OPAT/ID community. This has shaped my professional career and personal growth. I tried to select the most impactful individuals during this time but that is impossible. So thank you to every one of you!

I am proud of what we have built today. We have our own dedicated clinic space and amazing staff. OPAT is no longer a barrier to discharges, and we can accommodate outside referrals and more pts. Additionally, we have a premier ID pharmacy training site IMO

We began the long process of transforming the clinic into what it is today. It often felt like every two steps we took forward we took one step back (nursing turn over, multiple directors, COVID, etc) but we stayed the course and continued to improve the clinic.

I was hired right out of residency, along with an NP, as our OPAT program was struggling due to lack of providers and resources. At that time we only had 1/2 day of clinic and shared space and staff with 10 other clinics.

After an amazing decade, the time has come for me to say farewell to @UNMHospital It's been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable memories. 🧵
