So this happend today…MY NBC 5 DEBUT!! I am so blessed to say that I had my official on air debut today during the midday show. To be back in this community and serve them through telling weather stories is an absolute honor for me! Happy to be home and to many more forecast!!

The problem lays squarely in the lap of Greg Abbott. While Abbott has sat on a historic surplus, Texas has plummeted in per-pupil spending. Instead of investing in our kids, he’s playing politics and shortchanging our students.

Texas House Democrats joined a handful of Republicans to kill our education package last year. It added $6 BILLION for school funding, including teacher pay raises and school safety. To achieve our shared goal, the House must pass it next regular session.
