Been at the @ARUKscientist conference, hearing latest dementia research & catching up with friends & collaborators from across UK. My @Dementia_Omics team got an opportunity to present posters on our ongoing epigenomic/transcriptomic work in AD, PD, DLB & HD too πŸŠπŸ’œπŸ§‘#ARUKconf25

Yesterday I got to watch five of my PhD students graduate. πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ“πŸ“š Very proud of them all 🀩 In the rush to get there I grabbed 2 right shoes - managed to jam my left foot into 1 for the day but was not comfortable and sure I was walking oddly πŸ™ˆ @Dementia_Omics

Yesterday marked the end of an era, with my last grant review board meeting as chair for @ARUKscientist. After nearly 8 years on the board, with 4 as chair, it’s been incredible to witness both the phenomenal growth of the charity, and the incredible projects they have funded! 🍊
