Public library DEFUNDED because it continues to circulate 5 challenged books about #LGBTQ+ themes. Some residents demanded all books with LGBTQ+ themes be removed: 90 books total -- less than 1/100th of collection. @AlanSInouye @AndrewRichard @CCCPodcastVOC @rachellynchase.
Alarming and dangerous anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric has essentially defunded the Patmos Library. This is short sighted and punishes, irreparably, the entire community. Read MLA's statement here on the 2nd failed attempt to pass a 10-year millage in Jamestown MI:
