This is not about learning how to use AI perfectly. It’s about becoming the type of entrepreneur who is constantly adapting.

80% of businesses won’t survive the shift. The top 20% are already adapting. Artificial intelligence is not replacing everyone. It’s replacing the average. The people and companies that thrive will be the ones who start experimenting now, not the ones waiting for instructions.

Your mentor is probably already in your circle and you don't even know it yet. I'd caution you against having a "wish list" when it comes to mentorship. The mentor you want is rarely going to be the mentor you need.

Mentorship doesn't start out the way you think it does. In fact, it probably shows up dressed in overalls looking a lot like work. A mentor-to-be will probably (but definitely) throw a few tests your way before they decide you're worth investing in.

The best mentors come from the least likely places (and when you least expect them). I met my mentor after being declined for a home loan. My brother's mentor started as his landlord.

Successful people want to help other people be successful. But they need to see that you're really trying first. Their time is an investment and they want to know that investment will be honored and actually provide a yield.

Get out there. Volunteer. Go to the local Chamber of Commerce events. Join a mastermind. Volunteer (see how I said that twice?) Put yourself in a position to be seen by people who matter.

Instead: Work really, really, really fucking hard and allow yourself to be seen doing so. Always go above and beyond. Be positive & enthusiastic while you're at it.

Mentorship isn't a handout, ever. Don't cold approach people asking them to mentor you (mentorship panhandling).
