Danielle Deadwyler and Viola Davis missing for Ana De Armas and Andrea Riseborough is maddening. It could have been the rare (first?) year that we had a majority POC Best Actress lineup—and with the actual best performances of the year.

Watch To Leslie, perhaps. Yeah Deadwyler and Davis were snubbed, should’ve been there over Williams and de Armas. But Riseborough deserved every bit of that nomination.

I’m still perplexed as to how Deadwyler was paid absolute DUST this season. Also, I didn’t even know Riseborough was in any other film this year other than MATILDA THE MUSICAL
