a good friend of mine from outside the streaming space got dumped in a super messy way, but back when they were together I was already suspicious of him because he was clearly and obviously viewbotting his ~2 ccv channel to ~70 ccv and blamed it on a friend.
Twitch CEO Dan Clancy claims that small streamers are the worst offenders when it comes to viewbotting. "Most of the viewbotting and most of the fraud is not on a big streamer. It's on a small streamer, but thousands of them."

I’m traveling and this place has almost the worst possible internet situation (no cell signal, satellite tree obstruction, and shitty DSL that would have been average in 2004). nevertheless I priv tested an insane hack to stream with my model in 1080p. trying it live tomorrow.
